According to a top police official, the six persons, all residents of Barpeta district, have suspected links with terror organisations.
The arrested, identified as Rafiqul Islam (39), Chiraj Ali Khan, Saiful Islam (20), Jahuruddin (60), Golam Osmani (23) and Sarbesh Ali (38), were kept in a secret place for interrogation by the Assam Police, the official said.
