Burglars strike at cop's house in TN

In the second incident of burglary in a police personnel's house here this month, thieves today struck at the residence of a Sub-Inspector and decamped with gold jewels worth around Rs 1.25 lakh.
SI Jayaprakash, attached to Salem Steel Plant station, was away on work and his family member had gone for shopping when the burglars broke open the house door and escaped with the jewels, police said.
On May 17,gold jewellery worth more than Rs 15 lakh were found stolen today from the house of an Inspector at Ammapet here when the family was away on vacation.
