The incident happened when the woman, teacher of a local school here, tried to board a bus and the conductor allegedly grappled her and dragged her inside the bus, they said.
No passenger came to the woman's rescue, who kept on screaming for help requesting the conductor to stop the bus and let her down, police said.
The bus finally stopped after a non-stop drive for several minutes and the woman went to the nearby police station and lodged a complaint, said Police.
