"The theme of the Trade Fair is "Buy Swadeshi". BNCCI has always stood up for the cause of promoting Swadeshi, " G.P.Sarkar, President, Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry said today.
"We have ensured participation of 200 rural artisans, from socially backward and marginalized communities in the Fair, enjoying direct patronage of the Government of India and West Bengal. In line with Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of "Stand Up India, Start-up India", special pavilion has been allocated to young entrepreneurs in the Fair, " he said.
The fair would witness active participation from twelve foreign countries namely Singapore, HongKong, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, SriLanka, Mayanmar, Thailand, Egypt, Ghana and Turkey.
Approximately 500 exhibitors from both B2B and B2C segments will be there.
Cultural programmes would be organized during the evening hours with artists performing from different districts of West BENGAL, the chamber said.
