A three-member observer team of Cricket Australia (CA) today visited Saurashtra Cricket Association to review the preparation for the scheduled T20 match between Australia and India at the SCA stadium Khanderi on October 10 here.
CA's media manager Adam Fraser, Sean Carroll and Graham Manou visited the SCA stadium and inspected the arrangements for players, spectators and media.
Suru Nayak, Cricket Operations Manager BCCI and SCA secretary Niranjan Shah accompanied them.
Later, talking to reporters at the stadium, Shah said, "Three members of CA including its media manager and security officials have come here for inspection of the ground, players accommodation and security."
"They are satisfied with the arrangements and later we would be meeting city police commissioner H P Singh to discuss the security arrangement," he said.
"The facilities at the stadium are magnificent and we are looking forward to a successful tour to India," Fraser said.
Australia will tour India to play seven ODIs and one-off T20 match, scheduled for October 10.
SCA stadium Khandheri, which hosted its first ODI when England played India earlier this year, will host its first international T20.
"This is a great moment for the SCA for organising two international matches in a year. Earlier in the year, England had played here and now Australia is going to play the lone T-20 match of their tour to India," Shah added.
