US-based CA Technologies today launched a new solution in India that will help domestic enterprises connect their application development and operations team to work in a collaborative manner.
The company is targetting clients in retail/e-commerce, banking and financial services and government sectors for the new solution.
"Often, there is a lack of engagement between the development and operations team. With our DevOps strategy, the new solutions will provide speed and scale that organisations need to rapidly deploy new applications, monitor environments, and continually optimise quality to ensure superb customer experiences," CA Technologies India Director (Enterprise Management Business) Abhilash Purushothaman said.
The solutions are designed to monitor application infrastructure and feature a redesigned user interface and new analytics that enable role and task-based monitoring.
"Today, every business is a software business and that has real and immediate implications for the operations teams who help ensure the availability of applications," he said.
To stay ahead of the competition, cross-team collaboration is essential for faster deployments and constant innovation, he added.
"We will target sectors like retail/e-commerce, banking and financial services and government sectors. We see a lot of potential in these verticals," Purushothaman said.
These projects could range anywhere from Rs 1 crore to Rs 15 crore, depending on the size.
