The 22-year-old girl, who is a hotel management student here, booked the cab on February 5 for a restaurant in Jawahar Nagar area.
After she left the cab, the driver Deepak shared her number with the student - Pramod saying she was a call girl.
"Later, Pramod called her on the phone and teased her repeatedly prompting the girl to lodge an FIR under IPC and IT act. Both the accused were arrested yesterday," SHO Jawahar Nagar police station Rajiv Raha said today.
