Canada condemns blasts at Bodhgaya

Canada has condemned the serial blasts in Bodhgaya temple and said "assaulting a place of pilgrimage has a particularly evil dimension and cannot be tolerated".
In a joint statement issued here, Andrew Bennett, Canada's Ambassador for Religious Freedom and Jim Nickel, Acting High Commissioner for Canada to India, said "Canada is shocked at this wanton act of terrorist violence against one of Buddhism's most important sites.
"Assaulting a place of pilgrimage, reflection and peace has a particularly evil dimension and cannot be tolerated", they said and wanted speedy to justice for those involved in last Sunday's attack.
