Carnival Cinemas appoints Vishal Sawhney as COO

Multiplex operator Carnival Cinemas today said it has has appointed Vishal Sawhney as the Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Carnival Cinemas, he was the Chief Operating Officer at PVR Cinemas and Chief Executive Officer of bowling chain PVR bluO.
"He is a pioneer in multifarious industries and will be extremely valuable as Carnival continues to grow across the country and abroad. As we look to become a larger, more integrated organisation, his extensive experience in managing and strategizing operations will provide a unique perspective to the company," Carnival Group Chairman Shrikant Bhasi said.
Carnival Cinemas currently operates 325 screens at 119 locations in 89 cities.
