After he concluded his 30-minute speech, Modi took the mike again to urge the CM not to insist on following the protocol.
"I know Shivraj Chouhan for many years. Protocol demands he comes to airport but I am telling him it is important to stay here," Modi said.
Chouhan, however, insisted that he would at least see Modi off till his car and Industry Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia will accompany him till the airport.
A host of industrialists, including corporate bigwigs like Ambani brothers-- Mukesh and Anil, Gautam Adani and Tata Group's Cyrus Mistry, were present at the Global Investors' Summit here.
