Case against 10 for cheating widow

A case was registered against 10 people for allegedly cheating a widow and trying to occupy her land, police said today.
Radharani, a resident of NH2, along with her husband Raj Kumar had bought a plot in Mauja Gaunchi area, they said.
One Dharam Prakash Sharma, with the help of Ram Babu, Choti Devi and others, allegedly tried to cheat the family of Radharani, whose husband had died in 2000.
Prakash, who claimed to be the legal owner of the land, got a fake registry done of her plot in the name of Ram Babu and Choti Devi, they added.
A case of forgery has been registered and investigations have begun.
