Caution notice against recruitment fraud

The Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) today cautioned the public to be vigilant against fraudulent recruitment agencies and individuals who try to mislead people by promising them jobs with the airport company and its subsidiaries.
"These individuals and agencies are misguiding job seekers about the job opportunities in CIAL and asking deposits from them," CIAL said in a press note.
CIAL follows a formal recruitment process through its own HR department through transparent methods, and notifications are published in major newspapers, it said.
In addition, the advertisement inviting applications are regularly posted in the CIAL website (www.Cial.Aero).
Potential job-seekers should not respond to such solicitations and inform CIAL if someone approaches them with fraudulent promises, the release said.

Four years ago, police had burst such a recruitment racket after receiving complaints from Kollam, Ernakulam and Thrissur by those who had been duped, CIAL sources said.
