CBI spokesperson said here that the official was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a complainant.
"A case was registered against Senior Branch Manager, United India Insurance Company Limited, Ghazipur U/s 7 of PC Act, 1988 for demanding 10 per cent of the claim amount from the complainant who owns a truck which met with an accident in May, 2015," she said.
The official said CBI laid a trap and the Senior Branch Manager was caught red handed while accepting the bribe.
