CBI arrests intel officer for receiving bribe
The CBI has arrested an intelligence officer of the Narcotics Control Bureau on the charge of receiving bribe of Rs 50,000, officials said Tuesday.
A lawyer who was allegedly receiving the amount on his behalf was also arrested, they said.
They said the officer had demanded Rs 2 lakh of which first installment was being exchanged when the arrest was made.
