CBI arrests top FCI official while accepting bribe

A senior manager of Food Corporation of India (FCI) was today caught red-handed by the CBI while accepting a bribe of Rs five lakh from a contractor, officials said.
Ashish Agarwal, General Manager of FCI had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs Five lakh from a Sagar-based contractor for an official favour, they said.
The contractor then approached the CBI.
The CBI sleuths then laid a trap at Agarwal's house in Riviera Town here and caught him red-handed, they added.
