CBI today arrested two GRP constables who were allegedly taking money from passengers in lieu of providing seats in Sampoorna Kranti express.
CBI sources said the agency carried out a surprise check on the Patna bound train this evening.
The team found that two GRP personnel were selling their seats for Rs 500 in the train, they said.
The sources said both the personnel were nabbed from the station and taken into custody.
During holiday season trains are running packed and these personnel were taking advantage of the situation to illegally fleece the passengers, they said.
They said a case has been registered in this regard.
