The CBI has moved the special CBI court in Hyderabad seeking cancellation of bail of YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in a corruption case.
CBI sources said Reddy was allegedly trying to influence a witness in the corruption case against him.
It was alleged in the case registered in 2011 that Reddy had influenced his father, the then Chief Minister, to favour some private companies, the sources said.
Reddy was given bail in 2013 with a warning from the court tonot tamper with evidence or influence witnesses.
The agency has moved the trial court on Friday with bail cancellation plea.
Reddy, son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR Reddy, had split from Congress after his father's death forming his own party YSR Congress.
The CBI has been probing cases of corruption against Reddy.
