CBI sources told PTI "there are three options before the agency either to give a fresh date for appearance before CBI or to issue a court-issued arrest warrant or to interrogate him in Delhi".
"A final decision will be taken tomorrow", the sources said.
Roy, former Railway Minister who is now in Delhi, was earlier asked to appear before CBI for interrogation by today.
Earlier CBI had said that interrogation of Roy was important to frame charge sheet against West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra who has been arrested in connection with the Saradha scam and is now in jail custody.
