Sampat along with other members of the commission arrived here today on a two-day visit to review preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, according to an official release.
On the first day today, discussions were held with representatives of different recognised parties separately.
The representatives gave the commission their suggestions and complaints.
Tomorrow, the commission will hold a meeting with senior officials, the release stated.
