Reports were doing the rounds that Dion, 47, will perform at Rene's funeral, but she had denied any such possibility, reported TMZ.
According to her representative it never crossed her mind to perform, but it's possible one or two of her songs will play in the background.
The ceremony will be held at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal where he and Dion got married 21 years ago.
The singer also lost her brother to cancer just days after Angelil died.
