Centre sanctions Rs 100 cr to improve roads in Vijayapura dist

Union Minister of State for Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Ramesh Jigajinagi today said the Centre has released Rs 100 crore for road improvement in Vijayapura district.
Jigajinagi said the condition of many roads in the district was bad and an action plan was sent to improve them to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
Gadkari has responded positively and sanctioned Rs 100 crore, he told PTI here.
