Sadique Ali Ibadat Ali (25) and Mohammad Ali Liyakat Ali (28) were notorious for snatching chains while riding motorbikes.
Sadique alone has at least 18 cases registered against him, some of them outside Maharashtra, police said.
The duo operated mainly in Jalgaon and Buldhana districts.
