The Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling Wednesday presented the third supplementary demands for grant of Rs 334.27 crore in the state Assembly.
Chamling, who also holds charge of the Finance, Revenue and Expenditure Departments, presented the third supplementary demands for grant of Rs 334.27 crore comprising Rs 282.78 crore on revenue account and Rs 51.49 crore on capital account under 29 separate grants and appropriations.
The discussion and voting on the third supplementary demands for grants will take place on Thursday, Speaker K N Rai said.
The Minister of Law, Legal, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs RB Subba introduced the Sikkim Lokayukta (Amendment) Bill, Bill in the House.
The Sikkim Lokayukta (Amendment) Bill, of 2018 has been framed to amend the provision of Section 9 and Section 34 of the Sikkim Lokayukta Act, 2014 to streamline and to strengthen the functioning of the Sikkim Lokayukta Act, 2014.
The discussion and voting on the Bill will take place on Thursday.
