At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in April month declined by Rs 19, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 4,046 per quintal with an open interest of 30,120 lots.
Similarly, the commodity for delivery in far-month May contracts traded lower by Rs 18, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 4,098 per quintal in 6,970 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in chana prices at futures trade to low demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from growing regions.
