Narasimham also expressed confidence that his own developmental record will ensure his victory.
He had won from Jaggampeta assembly seat in 2004 and 2009, and served as stamps and registration minister in N Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet.
"The TDP-BJP alliance will bring back the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and make Narendra Modi the Prime minister," he said.
Narasimham added that it was Naidu who as the Chief Minister had brought IT firms to Hyderabad.
He also attacked the Centre for bifurcating Andhra Pradesh without addressing the issues of the Seemandhra.
"I was deeply hurt by the way the state was divided, therefore I joined TDP," the former Congress leader said.
