Chandrapur scorches at 46 degree Celsius

Chandrapur town today recorded a maximum temperature of 46 degree Celsius, the highest in Vidarbha this summer, as the region reeled under heatwave conditions.
While Brahmapuri recorded 44.4 degree Celsius, Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra, recorded 42.8 degree Celsius today, though yesterday's temperature in the city was 45 degree Celsius.
Temperature in other cities was: Akola-43.8, Amravati-43.6, Buldhana-41.4, Gondia-42.1, Washim-42.0, Wardha-44.0 and Yavatmal-42.8 degree Celsius.
