The Lokayukta police is likely to file a charge sheet on February 22 against suspended IAS couple Arvind and Tinoo Joshi, accused of amassing assets worth Rs 41 crore.
The Joshis are facing cases for disproportionate assets under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code.
Apart from the Joshis, the charge sheet is likely to mention 16 others, including their family members, Lokayukta sources said today.
Those who may be named in the charge sheet include Arvind's father H M Joshi, mother Namrata Joshi, sisters Abha and Vibha, associate S P Kohli and his family, Delhi-based stamp vendor Raj Rani, insurance agent Seema Jaiswal and property broker Pradeep Jain.
Both Arvind and Tinoo are 1979 batch IAS officers of the state cadre. Income Tax Department raided their official residence in Bhopal in February 2010, leading to discovery of disproportionate assets.
The Lokayukta had earlier this month received permission for prosecution of the Joshis from the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
