Eurolot spokeswoman Karolina Bursa said today that the pilot of the Airbus 320 flight K2 6242 from Antalya to Poznan "decided to make a landing in the port of Burgas, Bulgaria," because a "need emerged during the flight to check one of the systems."
She said security procedures in such cases require landing at the nearest airport.
Bursa said experts were checking a system that is responsible, among other things, for the air conditioning. Passengers are expected to continue their journey on another plane.
