Cheating case registered against 61 JBT teachers

Sixty one Junior Basic Training teachers of the district have been booked on the charges of cheating and fraud after their thumb impression and signatures were found fake, police said here today.
The case was registered by the police at Thanesar on the complaint of District Education officer, Parminder Kaur, here.
SHO, Ram Kumar said that apart from Section 420, other Sections of IPC would be added, if required, after completion of the inquiry.
Notably, the signatures and thumb impression of many Junior Basic Training (JBT) teachers out of 8000 appointed by the previous government in 2011 were found fake and cases have been recently slapped against the accused across Haryana.
