Following the incident, two companies of PAC have been deployed at the village to avert any untoward incident, a senior police official said.
An FIR has been lodged against six persons who were absconding, he said, adding that senior police and administration officers reached the site and pacified the mob.
The locals protested against the incident and demanded the arrest of culprits.
