Chief municipal officer held for allegedly accepting bribe

"Acting on a complaint, police laid a trap and caught R Usmani when he was accepting Rs 10,000 from the complainant Kamlesh Mahobia," Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Manish Kapooria told reporters.
He said Usmani allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000 for doing an official favour but the deal was settled in Rs 10,000 following which he was trapped and arrested.
A case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered, he added.
