Child dies in blast at garbage dump in Krishna district

A six years old boy died while another boy was injured in a blast at a garbage dump near the fish market in Pedana town of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh today.
District superintendent of police G Vijayakumar said the blast took place when the boys, while playing, set fire to a heap of garbage this afternoon.
Mohd Rafi (6) died while being taken to the hospital, while the condition of Edrish (6) was serious, he said.
Andhra Pradesh excise minister K Ravindra visited the site of blast alongwith the SP and other police officers.
Probe is on.
