The Jiamusi Intermediate People's Court of north-east China's Heilongjiang province, sentenced Bai Yunjiang to death for homicide, rape and robbery while his wife Tan Beibei was given a life imprisonment for the same charges, state-run China Radio International reported.
The trial was not open to the public, as the victim was a minor.
Tan Beibei was accused of luring the 17-year-old girl to her home by pretending to have pains in her abdomen and asking her for help on July 24 last year.
Tan Beibei was pregnant when she and her husband killed the girl. She gave birth to a boy in August last year while in police custody.
The child has been sent to a local welfare centre, after the couple and their relatives gave up custody.
