Chinese golfer Li Haotong wins Hero Challenge in Dubai

Chinese Golfer Li Haotong clinched the title in a night golf contest The Hero Challenge ahead of the DP World Tour Championship here.
Making a promising debut at the third and final Hero Challenge event of the season, Li defeated Alex Noren in a high-scoring final round.
The competition witnessed participation of eight professional golfers who battled it out in the head-to-head target golf challenge towards a floating green off the Nasimi Beach Club.
Higher scores were given to those getting their efforts closest to the flag and Li found the innermost circle around the pin at least once in each of his three rounds.

Hero MotoCorp chairman Pawan Munjal presented the winner's trophy to Li Haotong.
The Hero Challenge was introduced at the British Masters in 2016 and now Hero MotoCorp has extended the partnership with the European Tour by three years.

The event received a good response at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open 2017, before making a comeback at the prestigious British Masters.
Patrick Reed won the first edition at the Scottish Open at Dundonald Links in Scotland while Lee Westwood won the next one at the British Masters in Newcastle.
The DP World Tour Championship marked the season finale of the Hero Challenge.
