Paswan, son of party chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Pawan, did not suffer any injury in the incident that was caused by overcrowding, Gaya District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Agarwal told PTI.
"A portion of the platform collapsed due to overcrowding. Too many workers on the platform. Chirag Paswan did not sustain any injury. He even addressed one rally after that incident," Agarwal said.
Except a couple of persons sustaining minor injuries, all on the stage were safe, he said.
LJP state unit spokesman Lalan Chandravanshi said Paswan addressed a rally at Jehanabad after the incident.
