Chris Hemsworth to return in next 'Star Trek' film

"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth will return in the next "Star Trek" film, according to director JJ Abrams.
In a conversation with Access Hollywood, Abrams - who directed "Star Trek" and "Star Trek Into Darkness - confirmed that Hemsworth will return for the fourth film in the rebooted franchise.
Hemsworth will reprise his role as George Kirk, better known as Captain Kirk's doomed father, and is set to reunite with his son, played by Chris Pine.
Hemsworth won't appear in the upcoming "Star Trek Beyond", which is directed by Justin Lin.
"Star Trek Beyond" will release on July 22.
