'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor Chris Pratt has been chosen as the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year.
The 35-year-old actor is being honoured by Harvard University's theatrical company for making a "lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment", according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jason Hellerstein, president of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, announced the award: "We vehemently deny that the members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals are obsessed with 'Parks and Recreation'.
"There is absolutely no basis to the rumours of ritualistic weekly viewings of the show at the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse.
"Joking aside, Chris Pratt's recent achievements as an actor are outstanding and we could not be more thrilled to host him and celebrate his talent as only the Pudding can."
Pratt will accept the Man of the Year pudding pot at Harvard on February 6 during a comedy roast.
Last year's winner was Neil Patrick Harris, with previous recipients including Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Segel, Jay Leno and Justin Timberlake.
Pratt's 'Parks and Recreation' co-star Amy Poehler will be this year's Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year.
Harvard's award comes during a busy year for Pratt, as his series 'Parks and Recreation' comes to an end and he prepares to launch 'Jurassic World'.
