Actor Chris Pratt, who reprises his role as Peter Quill in the second installment of the Marvel franchise, appeared on the popular talk show where he posed as an audience, reported E! News.
Pratt talked to Kimmel as if he had never heard of the film series to which the host quipped, "Are you on drugs or something?"
The actor answered, "No, I'm not. It's a really good movie... I think people are going to like it."
"This is the trailer for - what's it called?" Kimmel asked. "Garble Galaxy?"
Later Kimmel also posted the trailer on Twitter and captioned it as, "FIRST LOOK at the new @Guardians of the Galaxy trailer... #GotGVol2"
The film will hit the theatres on May 5 in 3D and IMAX 3D.
