Churchill looking for a win against struggling Sporting

Churchill Brothers impressive run have placed them in second position with 22 points, three points behind leaders Dempo. Yhry will be looking to maintain the winning momentum against Sporting tomorrow who managed to steal a point in the last match after a 2-2 draw against ONGC after being down by two goals.

Churchill Brothers coach Mariano Dias said the team is in right frame of mind after remaining unbeaten for the last four matches and are ready for Sporting challenge.

"I am pleased with the way his team is performing and hopefully looking forward to extend the unbeaten run tomorrow," he said.

Sporting, who has put up inconsistent performance are floating above the relegation zone are placed eleventh with 8 points from ten matches. Their new coach Oscar Bruzon Bareras who took over after Sporting suffered three straight defeats tried to mould the team into winning unit, managed to gain a point against ONGC and hopefully looking for his first win tomorrow against formidable Churchill Brothers.

Sporting Technical Director Alex Alvares wants to forget about the past and is looking forward for a win tomorrow."
