In all, 16 corporate teams and 16 local club team/NGOs will participate in the event, Gazal Bhambri, state head of CII said in a release issued here.
Matches will be five a side affair with rolling substitutes. Each categories will have two trophies - Champions trophy and Challenger Trophy.
The competition is on knockout basis but each team willget a minimum of two matches. The team which wins the first round will play for Champions Trophy. But if a team loses its first round match, it gets a second chance to fight for the Challenger Trophy, it added.
Corporate winners will qualify for free entry in the finals. Local clubs/NGOs winners of the Kolkata, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Goa Regional Soccer Fests will compete to claim the 2016 CII Soccer fest championship.
Registration fee for Corporate men's teams is Rs 10,000 plus tax while for local clubs/NGOs, it is free, it added.
