CII to hold summit on education

CII will organise a regional summit on improving quality of education in the city on November 25, providing a platform where concepts can be shared and later adapted or adopted by institutions.
The summit, organised jointly by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region and CII's Institute of Quality, Bangalore, will have more than 15 speakers discussing various aspects of education, a CII spokesperson said today.
Dr S S Mantha, chairman of All India Council for Technical Education and Dr Sitanshu S Jena, chairman of National Institute of Open Schooling, will address the summit, he said.
Eminent speakers from the government, institutions, industry and training organisations will also share their experiences, ideas and models which can be adopted or adapted to different environment, he said.
The summit will focus on key issues like perspectives in quality education, inclusiveness and scalability through technology.
