Mohammad Reyaz Shahid, CO of Chiraiya block, has lodged a complaint in this regard with Chiraiya police station.
In his complaint, Shahid said that he received four messages between 7 am to 6 pm yesterday in which extortion money of Rs 10 lakh was demanded with a threat that his body would be shredded by AK 47 ammunition in case of non-payment.
The cell number from which the CO received extortion demand has been forwarded to control room for calling details.
