The school will impart various skills related to gathering, analysing and dissemination of snoop information for the force which is tasked to guard the country's civil airports and other vital installations in nuclear and aerospace domain.
Minister of State for Home R P N Singh inaugurated the school at the CISF campus located here.
The about 1.35 lakh personnel strong force has 1500 men and women who are deployed in the 'crime and intelligence cell' that collects and generates intelligence in the area of their deployment.
The snoop component is very important in the airport security duties where the force has to profile a host of people, a senior CISF officer said during the event.
CISF also guards vital projects like the Delhi Metro and historical monuments like the Red Fort and the Taj Mahal.
