City Union Bank Q2 net profit up by 11.1 per cent

Private sector City Union Bank has reported an 11.1 per cent rise net profit at Rs 93.74 crore for the July-September quarter of this fiscal.
The Tamil Nadu-based bank had reported Rs 84.35 crore profit during the corresponding quarter of previous year, City Union Bank said in a statement.
Total income grew to Rs 772.99 crore during the quarter this year, from Rs 697.15 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
Shares of the bank were trading at Rs 81.40 apiece down by 0.67 per cent over previous close on the BSE.
