Civil engineer, domestic help found dead in Raj

A 45-year-old civil engineer and his domestic help were found dead at his house in Mount Abu area of Rajasthan's Sirohi district today with strangulation and injury marks on their bodies.
"Bodies of Hemant Patil and the domestic help Reva Ram (50) were recovered from the house today," Additional SP Prerna Shekhawat said.
"Preliminary investigation reveals that at least two unidentified assailants hit the victims with sharp edged weapons and strangulated them last night," she said.
The bodies have been shifted to the local hospital but postmortem has not been conducted so far, the ASP said.
"Investigation was underway and a forensic team has reached the spot to collect evidence," Shekhawat added.
