Class XI student commits suicide after parents' scolding

A class XI student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Sector 15 after his parents scolded him for failing in examination, police said today.
Rohit Thakur (17) was scolded by his parents last night for failing in exam, the deceased's father Vinod told police.
The youth apparently got upset over this and hanged himself to death, police said.
No suicide note was found, police said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem.
