According to the complaint lodged by the girl's father, on December 26, while the girl was returning home from college, Annu along with his friends Rajesh and Lalit offered her a lift in his car, police said.
When she refused, they abducted and gangraped her, they added.
However, the girl managed to reach her home in the Nagla Hansi area under Raya police station and informed her family.
The father of the girl alleged that when they approached the police on the day of the incident, their case was not registered and policemen did not even take the girl for medical examination.
Police said the case was registered against the accused today and the matter is being investigated.
