The victim, aged 17 years, had yesterday stayed back in the school after classes for filling board examination form when her chemistry teacher, Saurabh Kumar, allegedly raped her, Station Incharge Dharampal Singh said.
The girl's family later lodged an FIR with the police following which the accused was arrested, Singh said, adding that the girl has been sent for medical examination.
