CM's advisor fired at, escapes unhurt
Press Trust of India Dehradun Unidentified miscreants fired at Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat's advisor Sanjay Chaudhry when he was travelling in Haridwar but he escaped unhurt.
Chaudhry's car was targeted about 6 kms from Purkazi late last night when he was on his way back from a private function, SSP Rajiv Swaroop said today.
The miscreants fired from behind the bushes, the SSP said, adding the official, however, had escaped unhurt.
The firing may have been a result of political rivalry, he said.
