A CIL statement said the MoU was for cooperation in areas of strategic business and commercial interest.
"The collaborative move, between the two leading houses, is a step towards tapping each other's strength to increase their respective market share in the rapidly growing consultancy arena," the statement said.
CMPDI with expertise of mineral exploration, resource evaluation including CBM/CMM, resource management, mining, geology, hydro-geological & geophysical studies, engineering geology investigations, mineral processing under its belt shall provide technical advisory support for the assignments undertaken by SBICAP.
The scope of work and commercial arrangement shall be agreed mutually for each assignment.
